On the third day, we needed to extend one room and the front desk told my wife I had come down that morning and checked out prior to her requesting the added day. Not sure why the front desk person would lie about something like that, but it is certainly annoying. My wife found the staff to be very rude in general.
During the day they were doing construction in nearby rooms, so lots of noise and dust with no warning about construction prior to our stay.
I was very pleasantly surprised with how nice this stay was. I only needed a room for a single night, and wasn't looking for much. The room was very comfortable (the beds in particular were extremely inviting) and quiet. The staff was incredibly friendly and took time to make sure we were happy. The breakfast was a better spread than I've seen in many hotels and included a wide variety of delicious hot and cold options.
Stayed over Christmas 2017. They've made lots of updates and the rooms were clean with reasonably comfortable beds.
New fitness center, great bar and restaurant on site and good free hot breakfast buffet. Nice hotel overall. The only down side is finding parking if you don't get to the hotel before the dinner/bar rush after work.
We arrived a little early and had to wait in the restaurant/lounge for our room to be ready. The staff person there treated us to a coffee and a tea while we waited. That was a pleasant surprise! Our room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and we loved having a balcony on a warm October afternoon. The nighttime was perfectly quiet, and the breakfast included lots of fresh fruit, hot oatmeal, and other hot and cold choices. We'll be back often for family visits. Found a great deal online otherwise this hotel is way out of our price range! Has a restaurant that is VERY expensive - $14 for a burger?! Nice indoor swimming pool and good buffet breakfast - though the yogurt was months old but we said something and they immediately removed the old (ALL) yogurts.
I booked two rooms, one had no heat/A/C the unit had absolutely no power. The other room had a working unit, but it is one of the noisiest I have ever heard, constant loud banging noise like there were loose parts in the blower, so we ended up turning it off so we could sleep.
