Worse employee ever I called to order delivery and asked for chicken dumplings and he screamed at me saying they don’t have it as if I knew then he hanged up I called again and asked if they had beef or chicken then he’s like no we don’t screaming saying there’s just pork and I asked is that the only thing you have then he said sorry you called wrong number and hanged up like this idiot was really rude if you read this I was just tryna eat bro like wth if u tryna sell some food be polite and nice or get help if you got anger issues don’t put your stress on people. I wouldn’t say is the worst restaurant but people like you shouldn’t be working there
I ordered the chicken chow mein combo with pork fried rice. What I received was not chow mein. I received mediocre tasting pork fried rice, which I did order, and a ton of bean sprouts and onions and a tiny amount of chicken, which I did not order. When I called Asia Wok to see why I received bean sprouts instead of chicken chow mein, they told me that American chow mein is not a noodle dish, and that what I got was not a mistake. This is just not true. Chow mein is indeed a noodle dish, and is not what I was given. This weird change to a very common and standard dish is not mentioned at all on their website. This is not even mentioning the fact that it took an hour and a half for my food to be delivered to a location that is not at all far away from the restaurant. Please, save your money and your time and get food somewhere else.
Ordered delivery at 11:30ish and food came at 12:50. When we called about 50 min in to ask what was taking so long and the lady said it was almost there. Then 5-10 min later she called all pissed off saying the driver called 5 times and was on his way back and that we didn't answer although we had received a grand total of 0 calls. Asia Wok clearly lies to make excuses as to why they take so long with delivery (most likely because they wait for several orders to stockpile up for delivery runs) and then have the nerve to yell and blame you for it. Asia Wok is a bunch of sneaky schemers. I will still order when drunk at 1am but I won't be happy about it.
As a long-time local, I very much like this place. The food is good in general and the staff is friendly. It is a typical Chinese restaurant in many ways so nothing extremely stellar, but it's a solid choice every time and is open hours after all the other places close for the night. Try it out!
Best late night Chinese food option around. Unfortunately, a fire put them out of business a short while back, and they have been closed since. Dinner combos are your best bet here, and the portions feel like they are tripled what you pay for.
