The turn around time was also 2 weeks.
It was the most bewildering experience I've ever had at any place of business to date. To compare - I went to Wheelworks in Belmont afterwards and it was night and day. They were very helpful and understanding and wanting to work with their customers. I recommend everyone go there and skip this place.
I was met with Frank when I went into the shop to buy a new bike. Everyone was really friendly, helpful and informative. They did not mind at all that I asked a lot of questions and were eager to help. They give you free repairs for up to a year if you buy a bike from the shop. Frank also let me test drive the bike before buying to see how it feels. I am really happy with the service I received and will keep going back for my bike needs.
All the guys working there are AWESOME and extremely helpful! Get everything done well and super quickly. Very nice and kind people and very knowledgeable and helpful at the same time. Purchased a bike three weeks ago, totally satisfied with what I got. Came back first time for a maintenance check, adjusted all the things I suggested in 15 mins.
Guys know what they're doing compared to other shops in area
Terrible - I was immediately met with a crude and abrasive attitude;it didn't seem like the man (older, bearded guy with a large dog) was interested in obtaining my business and seemed more frustrated that he had to deal with a customer who's bike needed to be fixed. I was very polite and respectful in my approach but was met with an aggressive demeanor. I finally had to ask him why he was being so aggressive and abrasive with me to which his response was - "ah I'm italian." That is no excuse for being a huge jerk to a customer. I responded with "I don't care don't treat me that way" to which his response was to physically assault me and put his hand on me and tell me to leave.
Overall product with great value plus a year after sales maintenance services. Pretty good deal to me!
Came in with complaints about bottom bracket creaking. Was told it would be addressed along with the 116$ tune up. I'm not an avid biker and was unaware there are similar shops doing full bearing and cable replacements on top of the tune up for the same price. I feel ripped off and lied too. They didn't even ride the bike after the service. I had to come back the next day and show them how loud the creaking still was.
Expensive, slow, and in effective. Frank seems like a really nice guy, but his tech Kevin is atrogant and lazy. To charge 120$ for a tune up and not even see if the bike road properly seems inexcusable be in my opinion.
